Green Winter Vibrancy Elixir Juice
We are notorious (a little obsession goes a long way:) about sourcing the best local ingredients. Especially in winter (does anything even grow in the UK then??), when our bodies, minds, and immune systems are calling for *that* vitamin fix that comes naturally in rich, vibrant colours and seasonal ingredients.
Your best local friends at the moment are:
- High-quality oils
- Chlorella & other green powders
- Tonic herbs & spices
And here is a beautiful Green Winter Vibrancy Elixir Juice recipe:
- 1/2 Celeriac (root and leaves, baby)
- 1-2 pear
- 1 cucumber
- 1/2 inch ginger
- 1 big handful of fresh dandelion leaves
- 1 TBLS chlorella powder
- 1 TBLS extra virgin olive oil
Juice celeriac, celeriac leaves, cucumber, ginger, and pear. Then in a high-speed blender add dandelion, chlorella powder, and olive oil and just enough juice to cover the blades. Whiz till you get a thick, smooth, dark green cream. Serve by pouring juice into glasses and then pour the blended green ‘smoothie’ last.
Drink immediately! The juice is most potent when consumed right after it is made:)
Always add a little bit of high-quality, cold-pressed fats into your juice as it massively helps the absorption of nutrients from fresh fruit and greens. You will feel the difference!
