Pine kernels (Pine Nuts)


Wild harvested Pine kernels (Pine nuts) from Siberia (Russia). Pine kernels (Pine nuts) are praised throughout the world as a nutritious healthy snack and an essential ingredient in multiple of Oriental and Mediterranean dishes. In fact, pine nuts are so nutritious they have been the staple food of many Native American tribes and indigenous people of Siberia. Rich in protein and healthy fats, they were eaten as far back as 10,000 years ago. Perfect in smoothies, granola bowls, with porridge, salads, soups, and milks.


Pine kernels (pine nuts) are packed with healthy fats, vitamins E & K, and iron and are a great source of energy. It is one of the highest sources of plant protein. Pine kernels have super creamy, buttery consistency which makes them a perfect addition to most raw food dishes – savory and sweet.

We love mixing pine kernels with organic goji berries or mulberries as a quick snack on the go.

Joel loves making a fresh pine nut cream or milk by grounding/blending pine kernels and adding some water. We tend to add a handful of pine kernels to any juice we make by blending freshly made juice with the nuts in a high-speed blender as healthy fats in pine kernels (pine nuts) help absorb the super-active phytonutrients and pigments from the juice.
